About Art Lessons


When I was a child, I didn't like art lesson because I didn't draw very good but I liked it when I was in the art room. That lesson was quite good and quite funny.

First art lesson we met with our teacher in the art room and for warming up we hadsome coffee and tea. (I must say that: Our teacher is really nice and she is very friendly.) And after than we draw ourselves but the picture I produced made up for that. It doesn't really look me but I think it is good. This picture is very very good picture in my life:)

Another lesson the class has just 3 erasmus students, another students are Danish people. We made sculpture. But it is very hard. First sculpture was really bad, I made a man but second sculpture was better than. Because I looked Danish students. How are they make it? After than I learned it.

So this lesson was so interesting for me. I learned more about how to make a portrait and a sculpture.

About Danish Lesson

Our Danish teacher is Lone Semler Friborg. She is really very nice woman.
We learned some Danish words, some sentences, some numbers. Forexample:
Hvad hedder du? = What is your name?
Jeg hedder Zeliha. = My name is Zeliha.
Jeg kommer fra Turkiet. = I am from Turkey.

Some numbers:
en- to- tre- fire- fem- seks- syv- otte- ni- ti
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10
But I must say: Really Danish words pronounce is very hard. But it is funny I think.
Our Danish teacher prepared some game. We made circles and practised the Danish phrases. We played a game with a ball. We really enjoyed the activity.

I am Turkish Because...

Turkish coffe is really all about socializing and relaxing it also makes a fantastic after meal drink. Encourages conversation. In Turkish tradition, freshly brewed coffee is typically shared with someone you care about like family, friends, business acquaintances etc. The idea is to sit down together, savoring the flavors and the friendship while you converse! I like Turkish coffee I am a Turkish:)





This is Tarhana Soup.Tarhana is a kind of famous soup from Turkish cousine. Tarhana soup is eaten at every meal included breakfast. I like Tarhana soup why??? I am a Turkish:)







People drink it throughout the day in Turkey(before meals, after meals and in between meals). You will be offered a cup of black tea, wherever you go in Turkey. It is a sign of friendship, kindness and hospitality. Why?? Because I am a Turkish:)







I am a Turkish because I have henna night at the wedding.

Henna Night at the Wedding: This night in which the bride will be together with her familly, relatives and friends. This night which is called 'Kına Gecesi' is celebrated in the bride's home. The bride groom's family and other guests are met and hosted in the bride's home.
Usually dry henna brought by the bridegroom's family as broken to pieces in a silver or cupper vessel by a woman whose father and mother alive, not experienced any separation. After preparing the bride, veil ornamented with accompaniment of hymn, folk songs about henna. Hands of the bride are dyed with henna. The bridegroom's side is under the abligation to put money in the hand of the bride.



There are many different types of folk dances performed in various ways in Turkey and these reflect the cultural structure of each region. The bar in Erzurum province, the halay in the East and Southeast, the horon in the Black Sea and spoon dances in and around Konya are the best kown examples of these. So we have got a lot of dances because I am a Turkish.
Adana kebap is the number one meal all over the world!!

Gaziantep is famous for its 'baklava'. And my mother makes good baklava:)
The most famous culinary speciality is the icecream,'icecream of Kahramanmaraş'

Çorum is famous for its leblebi. Leblebi is snack and I miss it:)

A Horrible Day (Fire and Zeliha:))

Everything has a start on Monday. I just wanted to prepare some French fries because I like to eat it so I slice the potatoes and while I wash the patatoes, I saw the fire. Because the oil in the frying pan and the oil started fire. I was very afraid. After than Ester and I had to put the pan out. It was terrible. First time I cried but after than I smiled:)

Copenhagen (It is great:))


Wednesday 17th we went to Copenhagen. The travell was very funny. We travelled by bus and by train. After the travell was finished, we went to Danhostel in Copenhagen. We saw a lot of place in Copenhagen. Forexample we viseted The Little Mermaid, Library, Rundetaarn, National Museum.

Iwant write about National Museum. Because The National Museum is Denmark's largest museum of cultural history and because it has got a lot of cultures. The museum has equipment to magnify both exhibits. The atmosphere is great. I felt myself in the past.

School Visits

We went a pirimary school for school practise. So the children are six years old.

Their lessons started at 08:30. But before their lessons started, a teacher sing for students. I don't know Danish so I couldn't understand them but I think that was very great. Because the children was very happy so maybe the students could be energetic when they were listening the lessons.


The students were 2 teachers in the classroom. I t was very interesting for me because in Turkey, our students have got one teacher in the classroom.


Some students don't wear shoes. Why? I don't know. But they are very sweet:)) I think the atmosphere is very important for me and it was perfect. They atmophere was relaxed.




They are many papers on the wall and in Turkey is same. I think the classes looks very nice:) As a result, everything was great:))

A Different Country


Yes, I am studying in different university and different country. I am very happy because I have got a lot of friends:)
I am living in Denmark currently. Like dreams...

I hope, I can like in Haderslev... But I liked Haderslevs houses:)
